MY CHRISTMAS WISH LIST [Item #3] Picnic Plus Cooladio Solar Cooler

A gadget that enables me to do the three things I like most...FOOD, TRAVEL and GADGETS. The only thing that stops me from being able to travel all the time is the fact that I may not be able to use all my gadgets to the destination I am going to. This bag helps me do both without going through the hassle of making sure that I would have a place to plug my stuff.

The Picnic Plus Cooladio Solar stores not only your gadgets but also keeps your food and drinks nice and cool, just like you would with your average cooler. For only $65, this bag is not on practical but affordable as well. This is one bag I can use for year to come

MY CHRISTMAS WISH LIST [Item #2] 100 GB Flash Drive

Move over 32 GB flash disks, this is the mother lode of all thumb drives. I want every file I have right in the palm of my hands. For roughly 300 dollars, you can have the comforts of having all you media wherever you go. With this guy, Santa won't be needing to deliver all my data wishes for Christmas. He could sent it through mail instead.

Year of the TIGRESS

2009 is actually year of the Ox, but as the year ends it seems that it's slowly becoming the year of the TIGER.

Tiger Woods has been in a lot of trouble this month. It started with the disclosure that the world class athlete and role model is having an affair. To make matters worse, there is not just one woman he is having an affair. Almost every week a new name pops up adding to the already long list of Tiger's mistresses.

I guess Woods need more than one tigress in his yard. How many do you now so far?

1. Rachel Uchitel
2. Jaimee Grubbs
3. Kalika Moquin
4. Cori Rist
5. Holly Sampson
6. Mindy Lawton
7. Jamie Jungers
8. An unidentified British TV
9. A mystery cocktail waitress
10. A“sex-addicted cougar”

MY CHRISTMAS WISH LIST [Item #1] Star Wars Force Trainer

Now everybody can use the force. At times like these, our world needs individual who can use this power to thwart the evil in our midst.

The Force Trainer (expected to be priced at $90 to $100) comes with a headset that uses brain waves to allow players to manipulate a sphere within a clear 10-inch-tall training tower, analogous to Yoda and Luke Skywalker's abilities in the Star Wars films.

Nothing beats having force powers this Christmas season! May the force be with you

Things people do when in love

The apostle John in his first letter recorded in Scripture wrote, " Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love." This was the message in chapel today.

Love drives people to do crazy things. How much more can a person do when his heart is filled with God's love. Such love overflows that we who experience it wouldn't be able to contain it. It has to be shared. It is what compels us to do what God wants in our lives. Love is our constant motivation.

Nobody can experience God's love and not share it with others. It is a proof that God's love is in us. Persons who love others must have experienced it firsthand from others who experienced God's love from others as well. It is never ending cycle of love being given. Love is never meant to be kept. It has to be given away.

Love drives us to do the unimaginable. It maybe crazy for some but that is love's effect on people.

I can't believe I'm back to blogging. It was really tedious doing multiple blogs back then but thanks to the ever updating technology, blogging has never been easy as before. Now I can blog all I can and no one can stop me. Unless I get tired of it again. I hope not.

A Year of Heroes

This year has been memorable for every Filipino after all the things that have been in and out of the news. The past twelve months have been filled with scandals and tragedies as well as celebrations and victories.
However, I consider 2009 as the year of heroes for our country.

We have seen how the Philippines rose after being struck by strong typhoons the likes of Ondoy and Peping. For a moment, the word’s eyes were fixed on us while heroes sprung up from everywhere as everyone helped anyone within their reach.

Manny Pacquiao defied all odds as he became the first boxer to have seven titles in different weight divisions. He became not only a national hero to us but a hero to many who witnessed his victory.

Efren PeƱaflorida’s passion to teach kids who can’t go to school wasn’t left unnoticed He became CNN’s hero of the year as he exhibited the spirit of volunteerism that emerged despite the stormy situation our country is in.

They are just among the few individuals we look up too these days. Indeed, our world needs more heroes. Be one...
